Welcome to San Diego Yoga Center

Serving San Diego's East County Since 2002

San Diego Yoga Center offers yoga classes for all levels of yoga students; young and old, novice and experienced, athletic and sedentary.  We believe various styles of yoga should be available to everyone at reasonable prices and strive to have a community of instructors, staff and students offering support and caring for one another.  It is our belief that yoga is an essential element to healing a broken body and spirit and to maintain a healthy, low-stress style of living.

What You'll Need for Your First Class

  • Come to class well-hydrated
  • Do not eat or drink 2 hours before class for the Hot Yoga classes
  • Bring at least 1 liter of water to class in a non-glass container
  • A rubber yoga mat and large towel (for Hot Yoga) are required.  If you are missing one or both, you must rent a Breathe Mat for $2

San Diego Yoga Center Welcomes You!

We are so glad that you are here! You have made one of the best and most important decisions of your life. As you continue to come to class, you will quickly see why this is so.
We would like to offer some tips in order to get the most out of your first several classes, and your practice in general. We will also answer some of the most frequently asked questions about your yoga practice.

Drop in classes are $20 or we suggest that you try the Introductory Week for $25 which is 7 consecutive days of unlimited yoga.  Your week begins when you attend your first class.

We offer mat rentals for $2, shower towels for $1 and a variety of beverages are available for purchase.

Men's and women's changing rooms are available with showers.  We have areas to store your belongings but do not offer lockers so please leave valuables and jewelry at home or locked out of sight in your trunk.

Children under 18 require waivers signed by a parent or guardian.

Wear something you are comfortable moving, bending and sweating in. Women should wear light, comfortable clothes. Men wear shorts, shirt optional. Sweats are not recommended. No bikini bathing suits please. Square cut swimsuits are okay.

Please refrain from talking in the yoga studio before and after class.  We practice silence in the yoga studio so that students may meditate and prepare for class.
